The install is very easy. Just take your time undoing the airbag wires and make sure to carefully zip tie everything such that there is no pulling on the wires when you rotate the chair either direction. Only small complaint is that the release mechanism is on the side of the chair where you already have very limited room to squeeze between the chairs to get in back. And you do still need to bend the top front rod a little to clear the swivel but its such a small amount you can just push it down an 1/8".

We LOVE this swivel! We only installed the passenger side one because of or van layout. If we ever change it we will get the drivers side swivel too. It was very easy to install. The only problem I had was getting a stuck bolt off of the seat to be able to install it. You need a couple of sockets. Be sure to have the correct ones and the directions are easy to follow. This turned our passenger seat into an awesome lounge chair. I put a cushion on top of our 5 gallon luggable loo and its the perfect height to use as a footstool with the swivel. I bungeed it to the D ring so it doesn't slide around. It turns the seat into an awesome desk for working if you sit on the loo and face the swiveled seat. It is one of our best upgrades so far. Worth the $$
As advertised. The bar at the front of the seat riser does indeed need to be bent down so that it doesn't interfere with the swivel plate even though the instructions say that there is no interference. Not a big deal though. Just a personal preference, but I would like it if it would lock in the "reverse" position as well as forward.

2016 Promaster Seat Swivel Adapter
Love the swivel seat adapter. We purchased the driver side and passenger side swivel seat adapters and they work great! I was worried about the extra inch that it raised the seat, since I'm 5' tall, but it still works fine. The bolts that the swivel adapter came with seemed a little cheap and some of them wouldn't screw in so we used a couple of the original bolts from the seat. The swivel seat adapter gives us a lot more room in our 2016 Promaster. Great addition!
