Front seat swivel adapter for 1999-2003 VW EuroVan. Great for camping. Opens up the interior and gives you extra seating.

Adapter mounts on top of original seat base and allows front driver or passenger seat to swivel to face the rear. Seat locks in forward facing position. Not to be used while driving. Raises seat height 1 inch. Mounting hardware included. Will not fit driver side on Weekender models unless a shorter battery is installed and will not fit on passenger or driver side of MV or MV Weekender models unless rear facing seat bracket is removed. Built in wiring chase allows for heated seats. Color: black.

Great but tall

Product is well built and install easy. Came with the required new hardware (bolts). Mechanism works well. Only issue is that in reality it adds 1.5” height to the seat. Ok for now but in the long term I’m going to get another seat based and “chop it” to get seat back down to where it was or a little bit lower. I’ve seen where others have done this.

Eurovan Swivel Seat Adapters

Top Quality!! These are the real deal. German Sportcraft Model with Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt meets safety specs for Europe!! If you can read English, these seats are a piece of cake to install in less than 15 minutes. 4 hex bolts and 4 T-45 torx bolts and you are done. The key is to insert and start each bolt and tighten each just a little at a time, like a wheel, to line up all four bolts. Start with the front two and slide the seat forward to squeeze the rails if needed to insert rear bolts. Comes with all new mounting bolts. Ordered one and will now order the driver side. Just get over it and order both sides at once!!!

Works great. Solid design

Just installed this on the passenger side of my '03 Eurovan and I couldn't be happier. The adapter works marvelously. I had to call customer support (100% due to my own mistake) and they were super helpful and awesome. Thanks Eurocampers!

Q: I have audio equipment mounted under the passenger seat that is about 4 unnecessary high off floor. Will this hinder the mounting or restrict the free movement of the swivel chair modification?

Q: We are wondering if there's a way to loosen how hard it is to swivel the adapter? We're finding it kind of discouraging to want to swivel around when it is so tight. Is there a way to loosen it? Thanks for any help you can provide!

A: These are just a bit tight so you have no noise or movement while driving. The large nut can be loosened, but it will require using heat to break the thread sealer, and then reapplying the sealer.

A: This item can be used in EuroVan GLS, MV and MV Weekender on either the driver side or passenger side. Only the MV Weekender would have a battery under the driver's seat. Please read product description for more information,

Q: I previously asked a question about the seat swivel adapter for 2003 Westphalia weekender and the response was it doesn’t work with the rear jumpseat support post in place because the post is mounted on top of the front seat base. This is not the case for my 2003. The jump seat support is mounted on the floor adjacent to the front seat base and does not extend above the front seat base at any point. So still haven’t seen a good reason not to but one??

A: The rear facing seat bracket sits on the back of the seat base and will not allow the swivel adapter to install.

Q: Swivel seat adapter for 2003 weekender says you need to remove jump seat post for this to work. Looking at the jump seat post it is lower than the top of the existing seat base and doesn’t look like there would be an interference? Am I missing something?

A: The rear facing seat bracket mounts on top of the seat base in the back. The bolts and bracket will not allow the swivel to sit over the base.
