2007 - 2018 Sprinter Heavy Duty Front Passenger Seat Swivel Adapter

Purchased for a 2016 High Roof 144 WB. The holes for attaching to the base did not align properly. Had to use a Dremel like tool with an abrasive cone to enlarge 2 of the holes (~3 hrs work). Added some Rust-Oleum and finally could install. Moving the seat-belt attachment was easy, but not well mentioned in all instructional videos. After several days, the height gained on the seat is not obvious. Seat operation is easy, no need to open door, just move seat forward a bit. REPLY FROM EUROCAMPERS: If you follow the included instructions they mention to loosen the bolts that hold the seat base to the floor of the van. This will allow the seat base to easily flex and align with the holes in the swivel adapter. The seat base in the Sprinter is out of square and this procedure will match everything up. Old tooling at Mercedes? Sloppy work at the Mercedes Factory? It's not our swivels.

The product came as described and was very easy to install. WHole project took 20 minutes. The only downfall was the instructions are not in English but its pretty simple to figure it out. (note from EuroCampers.com: We include English instructions with our Sprinter swivels. There is an information packet in with the swivel that is printed in German, but we do include illustrated instructions in English.)

Fast shipping. 2018 Sprinter. Very straight forward install. The fit was spot on. No modification needed. Directions were easy to follow, plus a ton of youtube videos for other reference. I would recommend connecting the seat belt on early in the install. Also don't forget to put your seat belt connection bolt back into your seat once you switch the belt to the swivel. Heavy duty swivel.

The base is made of thick plates and looks very solid. No rocking of the seat while driving. Installation was fairly easy. Only drawback is the unlocking mechanism. You have to slide the seat back/forth to unlock the rotation mechanism.

We are thrilled with them. They make the interior so much roomier and they are still comfortable!

Bought a set of these for my Sprinter Van. A bit tricky to swivel in - trying to avoid the door and the steering wheel, but it is a solid swivel and holds the chair well. Note that it does raise the seat up a bit - as disclosed by the mfr. Be sure to loosen all of the base bolts to make the bit of the metal screws easier.

This swivel seat adapter is awesome. Very easy to install. Took about 20 minutes and it was ready to go. Mainly, thanks to the supplementary instructions included along with the German instructions. Seat is comfortable and swivels really easy. Does cause seat to sit a little higher but that was expected.

This swivel seat was simple to install and works great! We like how it helps create more seating in our "living room" part of the van!

Used on 2007, 170 wheelbase. Works perfectly!!! Great investment. Intuitive installation.

I bought both the Passenger and Driver adapters. Both installed easily, the Driver is a bit more difficult because of the emergency brake, but everything goes together with a little jiggling. If you just start the bolts to the drivers adapter everything goes in without drilling. Keep them loose until you have them all started or you will be drilling. You will also have to cut off about two inches of the plastic sides of the seat to clear the base. They work GREAT easy to turn and makes the Van huge!

I found your products well built and some what easy to install. I had some installation problems but after some trail and error it all went okay. Your Products work even better as you identified in your website. From your description and pictures I thought the seats would not rotate a complete 180 degrees. They do in fact rotate 180 degrees which is great. I am well please with your products and would recommend them to potential customers. Joseph

Locking pin on the passenger swivel seat adapter snapped off during installation. Given the weight of the item, I opted to fix it myself instead of shipping back to EuroCamper and asking for replacement.

I received my order in a timely manner and was pleased with how easy it was to install. I use it now every day and love it! I highly recommend this swivel seat hardware if you want more seating space in the Sprinter. One thing would be nice is if they included spacer washers. Seems to me they are needed for most installations. Other than that, it's a good quality product.

I really thought I was getting the hardware for both seats for the $229.95. The passenger seat was easy to install and works as expected. My wife feels like she is too high now...but she will get over it. When it faces back...the height is perfect.

You'll need special "star" tool to relocate seat belt holder. Needed one person to hold up seat while I slid Swivel under to line up bolts. I agree should include washers for spacer problem. Also design flaw that locking pin drops off plate when reversed 180 deg. Odd the seat relocation bolts were Amer & not Metric. Raised seat about 1.5 inches making it impossible for wife's feet to touch floor. All said, I'd rather have Swivels than not. I recommend to anyone who wants this feature.

Initially an order was placed for the passenger swivel adapter just to find out if it was worth it and if there were any compatibility issues with the seat pedestal. The unit was received and installed with no problems and it created a completely different and enhanced perspective to our small RV. I then ordered the driver side which installed with no difficulty. Having the two seats that swivel provide more comfortable seating for what would otherwise be just the dinette. It is a great after market add-on that is constructed very well.
