These are the original "Airvent" louvered security window vents for Sprinter vans.

Durable black powder-coated finish over aluminum. Easy installation! Simply roll down the window, place the vent inside the window track, and then slowly roll up the window. A layer of netting inside the louvers keeps out insects. Very secure. Can't be removed from the outside. (Insist on only this original German-made aluminum product, not a cheap plastic copy).

Fits all roof height and wheelbase 2007 through 2024 Mercedes, Dodge, and Freightliner Sprinter models. Also fits all Class B and Class C RVs built on the 2007 and newer Sprinter chassis. Does not fit 2001-2006 Sprinter models; see: 46153.

Well worth the investment!

These vents are well designed and high quality. Installation is straight forward and simple. A couple things I discovered is that my 2019 Sprinter has a security feature which reopens the window when it detects resistance before fully closing, in other words upon making contact with the vents, it will reopen. Therefore, I need to carefully close without triggering the sensor. Not a big deal, but was unaware of this security feature. The only minor observation is the durability of the paint. I am not sure if it is powder coated or painted, but they should be handled with care when installing, removing and storing and the finish will scratch or chip.

Window vents are well made and provide some air flow in the cab while providing security at the same time. The fit is perfect but it is best to slide the vents into the weatherstripping channel and then slide down on the window glass. Once seated on top of the window carefully close the window to secure the vents in place. If you put the vents at the top of the opening and then close the window, if the bottom of the vent and the top of the window do not align, it may damage the glass.

Very happy

Just bought that for my 2009 sprinter for warm season. So many mosquitoes and flies here with humidity that i needed a way to keep windows open but bugs out. I’m very happy with my purchase as I can also leave vents in windows while parked at store or while riding my bike and van will not come crazy warm. Only down side is size of screen that allows some little black flies to come in.

Best thing since sliced bread

We just got back from a week of van camping in Arizona, with rain and wind and dust. The vents keep the rain and dust out and let the fresh air in! Score! Takes a little trial and error to figure out which end is which (instruction say to put the "curved in to the rear..." but both ends are curved) and how to close the window without triggering the automatic open due to the friction of the vents, but once we got past that, we were golden. 5 ****** for sure.

Great window vents

Very high quality product made of aluminum, very rugged, not flimsy plastic that will photodegrade. They let the heat out but do not allow rain or thieves in. Very happy with this product.7

Air Vent Cabin Inserts

Great for airflow and reducing heat during summer trips.

Great product for van camping in the spring, summer and fall. For summer, keeps the radiant heat from building in the front of the rv! The ++ is the built-in screens keep the bugs out. For spring and fall they allow fresh, cool air into the van. Also good as a preventative measure if you’re leaving the van with your pet inside.

Perfect

Perfect for the hot summer days. Solid, heavy construction and fits perfectly in the window frame. These Airvents haven't effected the window tinting film at all. I was comfortable and secure adding these when parked for long duration and using the rear roof fan to pull in cooler air.

Great product

Because I liked the first set that I purchased for my previous Promaster, I just bought my second set for my new Sprinter. I like this product because of (a) sturdiness, (b) ease of use, (c) rain protection, (d) relative low-key appearance, and (e) security. I would like them to be labelled L and R (added myself) and with a carrying/storage case (rattling and sliding when not in use). I would not hesitate to buy again or suggest to others.

Marginal Effectiveness for Cooling Interior

I'd had this for some time thinking it would really do a good job of ventilating the interior without having to worry about theft. by leaving the windows closed while still allowing some ventilation to keep the interior cool. However, if you're thinking of buying this to use for camping, you may be better off to skip this somewhat expensive accessory for your Sprinter. I find that the cooling is very marginal at best, and it's a pain to install and remove constantly as it needs to line up with the window. You can leave it in place while driving but then it rattles a lot even with windows fully extended to push this device upwards. At this point, I have some buyer's remorse with this purchase. But decide carefully if you're thinking of buying it. Good luck! *** - Response by EuroCampers - Sorry to hear that the airvents do not meet your expectations. We would like to note that the airvents are not to be used while the vehicle is in motion, use while driving could block the driver's view and may not be compatible with local laws. Functional

These inserts seemed like a good way to increase ventilation and potentially reduce condensation in the cab area of my Leisure Travel Van built on the Mercedes Sprinter Chassis. And they are. It took me a minute to get the hang of the insertion but once I did it was easy. They are well made and perform as advertised.

A: Airvents take the place of the window glass so no problem there. They may be a bit more trouble to install with the extra plastic around the window frame.
