Stainless steel rear door ladder for 2012 - 2022 High roof Nissan NV 1500, 2500 or 3500. Ladder hangs off top of door and attaches at bottom with screws. Overall length 76 inches. Hardware included. Manufactured by Surco Products Inc.

A: It depends on how far you door opens, Some vans limit the door opening to 180 degrees.

Q: I’m considering buying this, but would like to know if the doors can still fully open 180 degrees with this ladder installed. Also would it possible to get measurements of how far off the van the ladder protrudes? Thank you

A: You would not be able to open your door fully with the ladder installed. The ladder is about 8 inches off the back of the door.

Q: Can you fold the back door open all the way to the side with the ladder attach to door? Do you make ladder for the driver side? Instead of the driver side back door?

A: The ladder is built to fit the driver side rear door. It sticks out around 8 inches so will keep the door from opening fully around. The Vantech ladder and Prime Design ladders we offer can fit either rear door.
