This Vantech J series low profile (2.75") 2 bar aluminum roof rack system with 50" crossbars was designed for the 2014 - 2024 Ford Transit Connect. Mounts to factory locations in roof. No drilling required. Available in white, black or silver finish.

Not compatible with factory roof track system or models with panoramic roof.

Aerodynamically designed, our rack system bolts on using factory mounting points. The unique shape of the crossbars minimizes wind noise. The A285 crossbars are reinforced aluminum with channels and can support 400 lbs. Mounting bases are 2.75" wide, In total the system weighs in at only 9 lb.

Q: i would like to put this on my 2014 XLT, is there somewhere i can see how and where this will mount, before purchase? just want to be sure it will work...i imagine it goes where the round plastic covers on the roof are. thanks

A: There is a link in the product description to download the installation instructions. This product will fit the Ford Connect metal roof. It will not fit the glass roof models.

Q: thank you for the info... one last question. will this require me to remove the headliner on the inside of the van or do the holes in the roof have welded nuts attached? thanks again!

A: You can download the installation instruction on the product page. The rack uses existing mounting holes in your roof, but a bolt and nut does need to be installed through the roof. The nut is installed inside the van, so you would need to remove thee headliner.
