2014 - 2024 Ram ProMaster Lowered Seat Base - in stock - Ships out by next business day

This lowered seat base is great for tall drivers. Easy to install and fit perfectly. You can still use the plastic side covers (and screws) by cutting about an 1.5 inches off the bottom of each cover and drilling pilot holes in the base as needed to align the cover as before. The tool box will still fit under the passenger seat, but the tray under the drivers seat will need to be secured somehow since the lowered base does not include the attachment bars as found on the original base.

I'm just over 5' tall, so finding a short base like this to use with the swivel seat was perfect. The base is very well made. It's solid, the welds are good, and the powder coating flawless. While basic installation was quick and easy - just slide in and bolt down - my only issue is the emergency brake plate that is part of the driver's side assembly needs to be raised by roughly a 1/4" to put the holes back in the original vertical level as the original base. It took a significant amount of finesse to force the holes to align again, and I gave up trying to install the last bolt that's behind the brake lever plate. Hopefully 2 out of the 3 bolts will work well enough. If it wasn't for this struggle, I'd give it a full 5 stars.

These are real quality and fit perfectly. They allow room enough to keep the tool kit under the passenger seat and the storage tray under the drivers seat too. Installation is easy if you loosen the rear mounting bolts and slide this base onto them then retighten them. They seem to lower the seat 1.75 inches and most swivels raise the seat 1.25 inches so the result is a bit lower.

Installed the lowered seat base on my Ram Promaster 1500 passenger seat. Smooth installation. With the addition of a seat swivel device, the passenger seat is now the same height as driver seat without a swivel. Shipment was quick.

The Sportscraft Lowered Seat Base works perfectly with the Scopema adapter, giving you the swivel you want without the nearly two inch increase in height. Honestly, the added height ended up being a bigger deal than I thought. But is it a big enough issue to be worth spending another $300? Evidently so...EuroCampers can't keep the lowered bases in stock. The Scopema swivel and the Sportscraft lowered seat base are both TOP QUALITY products. I assume you could try to make the factory trim work with the base, but for me, a little less plastic wasn't a tragedy. The base looks fine all by itself. One last thing: I've dealt with many companies throughout my build. Some very bad, some merely mediocre. But EuroCampers.com is as high quality and trustworthy as the products I've purchased from them. I still haven't decided if I'll do the driver's seat to match the passenger seat...but if I do, I know I can rely on EuroCampers.com.

I replaced both the driver and passenger seat bases with the lowered units in combination with Sportscraft swivels. Very easy to install, just some taps with a rubber mallet to get the rear prongs to engage with the pins coming up from the floor. You have to do some trimming if you want to re-attach the plastic trim pieces on the sides, but it's not a big deal.

Great, easy to replace few modifcations to side plastic guards. Feel more relax and not sitting up high. Made a difference

I purchased both Swivel seat adapters and two low profile bases. Excellent products - very well made and now I'm about an inch lower then when i started - perfect for a tall man like me. I am very pleased!
