A: The manufacture offers a bike carrier for this ladder

We recommend you follow the weight guidelines and attach the ladder to the van using bolts or threaded inserts rather than the screws included.

Q: Part# 093TM: How is the lower mount attached to the door? Does it require removing the interior molding to secure it at the bottom?

A: "Ladder hangs off top of rear driver side door and attaches at bottom with screws."

Screws attach from outside, but we recommend you use threaded fasteners like Rivenuts.
