Fitment:

This model swivel fits 2014 through 2025 model ProMaster 1500, 2500, & 3500 vans with the factory seat base. Not compatible with suspension seats or cab bench seats. Because they are so low-profile they work best if rotated while not seated in the seat. They are also compatible with heated seats and seat airbags. For safety purposes, they lock only in the forward-facing position and are not to be used in any position but the locked forward-facing position while the vehicle is in motion.

Low Profile

This design raises the seat height by only 1.25". Add the Scopema swivel with our ProMaster Lowered Seat Base, which is 1.57" lower than the stock seat base, to maintain the original factory seat height

Crash Tested versus Pull Tested, FMVSS, TUV Approval

Pull-tested to meet the US Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 207 & 210, and Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 207 & 210, and are also TÜV approved. This is the standard for aftermarket automotive accessories. It's a misnomer to say that swivels are "crash-tested". Read here to see why it is important for a swivel to pass both 207 and 210.

Van Lifer

Works exactly as it should, though it is a bit heavier and difficult to actually spin than expected. I only installed on the passenger side so no real issues in how that raises the height. I'd recommend a tutorial blog post or something out there that tells you exactly what equipment you need to do the job properly (for me it was a T-40 star bit and a hex set) since the instructions it comes with are pretty sparse. So far, a really quality piece of hardware delivered on time.

So much Room!

I don’t know why we waited to purchase this. It gives us so much extra room in the van! It was an easy, 2-hour install (by a 5’ female) with hand tools. You will need a good set of Allen wrenches.

Worth the Money

This swivel is heavy and somewhat difficult to install simply by being heavy and hard to maneuver but you can tell that with weight, comes quality. I know this is the one and only swivel I'll have to buy for this chair, which made the cost worthwhile. A note on install: The directions could use more info (which side is up? the stickers are in french so it's pretty hard to tell), does the swivel handle go inside the chairs or towards the door? Also, the directions tell you to "use original hardware" on the lower swivel base to seatbox attachment. My original hardware was a torx screw with a large enough head that actually blocked the swivel action. I replaced the originals with the included, slimmer-head hex screws and the issue was fixed. For new buyers, I'd just err on the side of caution and use the included, shorter set of six on the first round.

Swivels

Received the swivel from EuroCampers promptly. Install went pretty smoothly. Watched a few videos since instructions in box are a bit lacking. One issue came up after install, one hole countersink was not deep enough. This caused the bolt head to stick above the plate, and this caused some issues with rotation. I did grind down the bolt for that hole a bit and swivel works good. I think Scopema needs to do a bit better QC on those holes to verify bolts sit flush when installed. I was a bit disappointed since this is supposed to be the best swivel and is pretty pricey. No fault of EuroCampers.

Way, way better than the eBay junk swivels

I bought 2 bargain swivels on eBay for my Promaster, that was a bad idea. After about a year of fighting these because they were so difficult to use (pinched fingers and constantly having to move the seat back and forth to get the seats to swivel) wobbly, and raised the seats excessively high. So I bought a Scovena for the drivers seat. This swivel is the only way to go and after a couple of months I replaced the passenger seat as well. These cost a bit more but I ended up throwing away $400 when I put the eBay swivels in the garbage!

Really nice upgrade

I waited a long time to pull the trigger on this. I just swiveled my passenger seat on my Ram 1500 Promaster; I didn't want to do the driver side b/c I have a cabinet that would restrict motion, and I am tall and didn't want my driving view to be any higher than it already is. Installation went pretty smoothly, but I had clearance issues with some of the bolts—all on the Scopema unit itself. I had to use my angle grinder to buzz down a couple of bolts to prevent collision on the swing movement. Other than that, all good. The unit is indeed beefy and well engineered. And I'm an engineer, and picky about these things!

2022 2500 Promaster

Got the seat pretty quick, install went really smooth, took maybe 30 mins, it really does give the feel of more space in the van, and adds an "extra" seat to the back, glad i got this thing

Very High Quality

Arrived very fast. The swivel is very heavy duty and seems to be of excellent quality. Installation is pretty straight forward. I found it somewhat difficult to swivel at first but it seems to be getting easier. Would I buy this again? You bet I would.

Scopema passenger swivel for Promaster

Easy install and works really well. The quality and ease of swivel action is worth the higher cost compared to other swivel adapters out there. We had two people to locate the seat onto the adapter, which made for a quick install and avoided trapping any of the under-seat wiring. The space bars work perfectly to clear the seat belt bracket with no mods needed. Passenger does sit higher than stock seat but, this is a positive when we’re traveling when the sun is low. Very happy with this swivel adapter and purchase experience with Eurocampers - good communication and fast shipping.
