A: These are great insulation and likely the best product out there, but R values do not apply as they are determined for buildings and insulation in a stud wall including air space. There is no way to determine an R value for a product like this used in a vehicle. Stay away from products that claim R values. They are not designed for automotive use and the R values given are not applicable to the application.

Q:We have a 2019 pro master 2500, and currently use black out curtains in the back. But lots of light seeps through. Will using these essentially black out 100% of the cabin light to the outside viewer?

A: This product is a bit oversized and should provide the most amount of privacy. It may still be possible to light to enter around the edges.
