Looking for privacy and protection for your Transit cab? Our durable marine-grade windshield covers are made from Aqualon Edge, a vinyl-coated polyester material tough enough to withstand harsh conditions. The material helps reflect sunlight and offers protection from heat and UV light while providing privacy in the cab. It is water and mildew resistant, and will not rot, peel, crack, or fade from the elements. The one piece design is easy to install, just slip the corners over the upper edges of the cab doors. A sewn in pocket holds the upper corners in place while the cab doors are closed, and strong magnets that are sewn in hold the cover securely to the doors at the bottom. Rolls up or folds for easy storage. Storage bag included.

Note:

In areas with a high concentration of metal particles in the air, the area where the magnets attach will need to be kept clean to help keep the magnet from attracting the particles that could scratch the finish over time. A 3M style protective film can also be applied in these areas to help prevent this from happening.

Nice fit, super magnets

This windshield cover fits very well and is reasonable to install. Great coverage and very strong magnets. We used it for two weeks and experienced no flapping. It does not completely block out light, but significantly blocks most and provides privacy while allowing a little light in.

Scratches

The magnets either collect abrasive material or the fabric is stiff enough that it ..scratches the paint finish .. And I was so so careful. This is after 1 week.. Other than that it’s a perfect fit.. on the ford transit . **Note from EuroCampers** Thank you for the order and the feedback. In some areas with a lot of metal particles in the air, the magnets can attract those particles and they can collect on the surface of the van. We suggest keeping the van clean and trying some clear 3M protective tape in the areas where the magnets attach to the van.

Q: You say reduces the temp, but by how mucH? Say outside is 100, what will it be inside? Can I assume can’t see in or out? I have the foil type, I am disappointed in how little it helps. Are yours better?

A: We have no measurement data. This cover reduces sun exposure and temps, but it is mainly for privacy. If you are looking for insulation, we offer several other options - Heatshields, WeatherTech and NRF 7 layer insulation.
