Door lock motor/actuator for 1992-2003 EuroVan (all models) Original VW part. Fits driver and passenger front doors as well as sliding door and rear hatch. Electrical parts are non-returnable.

Q: '95 VW Eurovan Camper... First the passenger door lock would go ghost , repeatedly lock and unlock until I could only use the drivers door lock to secure the vehicle. Now there is no motor sound when locking and unlocking and the sliding door and rear hatch will not auto lock unlock. When replacing does each door/hatch need its own individual actuator replaced ? Thanks and stay safe

A: Yes, one bad actuator can cause this. You can swap them out one at a time.

A: One bad actuator could cause these issues. I would start by replacing the front passenger actuator and see if that solves the issue. Check the contacts on the sliding door to make sure they are clean and making good contact.

Q: Does the 1992 - 2003 EuroVan Door Lock Actuator have a three pins connector or 4 pins connector. On my Eurovan camper 1997 I need a three pins connector. Thank you Guy

A: The 3 pin connector was on the original rear hatch actuator but it is no longer made, You can make the 4 pin connector work in the hatch.

A: 4 pins. We are not aware of any 3 pin actuators

Q: Is this part an OEM? I ask as it is exactly like cheap knockoffs that are defective and failing. I also am confused as the part should be specific to the left front door rather than fit in all doors. I am interested but it costs upwards of $500 to install and remove if it fails Thanks for your help.

A: Please read the product description. THIS product is genuine VW. The actuator fits all doors, it's the same VW part number. We also offer an aftermarket option in another listing. No returns, issues or failures with either option.
