Stainless steel rear door ladder for 2001 - 2006 standard or high roof Sprinter (models with 5 cylinder engine). Ladder hangs off top of door and attaches at bottom with screws. Hardware included. Manufactured by Surco Products Inc.

Great Ladder.

This ladder seems well constructed and was a breeze to install. I had it powdercoated prior to installing it. It would be nice to be able to purchase it in different colors is my only, and very minor, complaint.

Q: My T1N Sprinter has a hitch mounted vertical spare tire. What clearance space is needed from the rear door skin to outer ladder frame? Depth for fit of ladder between door and spare tire? Thank you, Paul

A: The ladder protrudes about 7 inches from the face of the door.

Q: It looks like it obscures the license plate. Do some states prohibit this?

A: We do not recommend blocking the view of the license plate, and it is illegal to do some in some localities. You would need to relocate the license plate.
