“Can this ladder be mounted to either side rear door”
Yes, it can be mounted to either the left or right side rear door, but we do not recommend blocking the view of the rear license plate
“Can I mount a tire carrier/ cargo/ etc. to the ladder”
Mounting anything to the ladder may void Prime Design's warranty.
“What is the weight rating for this ladder?”
The weight rating is determined by the factory recommended max load capacity for the rear doors.
“Was this ladder designed to have a bend in it?”
Yes, there is an intentional bend in the ladder to better fit the slight contour of the rear doors.
“Will the ladder block the view from my back up camera”
The manufacturer states that relocation of the camera may be necessary if the ladder interferes with the field of view, but we have not had any reported cases of this being needed.
