This Vantech J series low profile (2.75") 2 bar aluminum roof rack system with 50" crossbars was designed for the 2014 - 2023 Ford Transit Connect. Mounts to factory locations in roof. No drilling required. Available in white or black finish.

Not compatible with factory roof track system or models with panoramic roof.

Aerodynamically designed, our rack system bolts on using factory mounting points. The unique shape of the crossbars minimizes wind noise. The crossbars are reinforced aluminum with channels and can support 400 lbs. Mounting bases are 2.75" wide.

Q: Will these fit a 2020 Ford Connect LWB?

A: Should fit most models unless you have the glass roof, or something else that prevents you from accessing the factory roof mounts.

Q: When installed, how high is the top of the rail from the roof? Also is the rail slightly bowed from side to side, or is it completely flat?

A: Flat crossbars no bowing, Uprights about 4" above mounting points, On 3 bar racks, front crossbar is a bit taller to make rack flat front to back,

Q: Does this come with the hardware to screw down into the roof or do you have to purchase separately

A: The rack includes nuts and nylock bolts to mount to your roof. You would need to remove headliner if so equipped to install. The other option would be to use threaded inserts that are not included. The holes in your roof are elongated and we would recommend professional installation of threaded inserts for this type of installation. Use automotive grade silicone sealant around all roof fasteners.

Q: I have a 2020 Ford transit connect. There are 5 possible mounting points on the roof. I bought the 3 bar system.J1203xS I received two sets of longer mounts and one set of shorter mounts. My question is: I thought it was two shorter and one long in the front in order to get a level load. If not, how will the arrangement work to achieve a relatively level load? or could you please send a set of short mounts?

A: The 2 shorter mounts are for the center bar. There is a slight crown in the middle of your roof. Let us know if you have any difficulties with the install or if we can assist you further.
