Universal aluminum rear door ladder Available with standard or hook top mount. hangs or bolt to top of door and attaches at bottom with screws. Fits either drivers side or passenger side rear door. Overall length 50 inches. Can be shortened to fit. Hardware included. Manufactured by Surco Products Inc.

Q: Can the ladder be mounted on the door and allow for the door to open... does the ladder need to be mounted permanently for the door to open..?

A: We don't follow what you are asking here. The ladder screws into the door. There are a couple of mounting options for the top. The ladder mounts to the outside of the door and can only be used when the door is closed, The ladder likely will keep your doors from opening all the way around against the side of your van, if your doors normally open that far.

Q: Hi, I have 2 questions here, I have a 1993 Eurovan Westfalia, and I would like to add a ladder to the backdoor, to access a basket on the rear of the top (Pop-Up). Can the Universal 50" Aluminum ladder be used on my West? Secondly, is the ladder available in black?

Q: If I choose "hook top mount" option, how the 50 inch length will be measured? BTW, I try to use it for my Promaster 2500 high roof. Thanks.

A: We have not fit this ladder on a high roof Promaster. It may be too short and mat not fit the door well.

Q: I see this has a universal mount. Do you feel it would mount to a 2001 Eurovan?

A: We have not fit this on a EuroVan. If you feel there is a flat area above the window that the ladder can mount to, then it may work. You may need to use threaded inserts or through bolts to mount. Also check out our Surco universal ladders.
