EuroVan Airvent 2 Driver Side Sliding Window Vent

Well, I have the Airvent 2 and like them, but they are a bit strange in sizing... Could be wider... And should be designed to allow the window latch to lock! As it is the size does not match up with any of the holes in the side widow latch. SO, they require the window to be unlocked when installed... which is LOW security! I'd say these are great, but NOT a Security screen... without some modification. A wood dowel works!

I got my window to lock by drilling an extra hole where the latch rested when the window is closed on the airvent! Perfect fit, windows lock just fine! I purchased both sides and they both installed very well. They are snug under the window molding and DO NOT leak! manufacturing and finish quality are very professional HD. They look real cool and do a great job. No issues with locking the windows when the screens are in place on my 2002 GLS.

I like these vents. A definite step up from the plastic stock screens, which have a tendency to break at the bottom clip. These may require a hole to be drilled at the bottom of the frame for the window latch to secure the vent, so remember to measure twice and drill once :-)
