Awesome addition

It seems I got these just in time. It has been non-stop raining here in Virginia the past few days. I love driving and getting fresh air into the car while it is raining. I found these cheaper here w/ free shipping than I did at most the other places. They are labeled weather tech, but I couldn't find them on the weathertech website. Good quality and just sit right in the window channels. They are a bit tight when the window rolls up to close so a little worried if it will strain the window motor.

Q: Can you close the window all the way while these wind and rain deflectors are installed? (We tried the Weathertec once that they said would fit our 1987 Vanagon but the glass was not able to close all the way.)

A: These are made in Germany and sold by WeatherTech in the US. They fit in the window channel and need to be installed on a warm day and you may need to pull out a bit on the deflector to close the window. Leave it sit overnight and repeat this process as needed until the deflectors allow the window to close. The window seals on a 36 year old van may be a bit dry making this process take longer.
