Q: What is the weight limit? Can it be mounted on the side?

A: Weight is limited to the capacity of the rear door. Use only with the door closed and latched. We do not recommend the ladder is used to carry cargo. 275lbs. This ladder only fits the rear door.

A: We do not believe this will be in the field of view on the standard factory camera.
