Easy Instalation
I did not need the entire product, just the cover that had broken off our old one. However, I was pleased with the price, and was able to easily install the entire inlet and cover within minuets.

Mr.
This is a good quality electrical inlet that fit my '97 camper perfectly. It arrived quickly and installed easily--I am glad Eurocampers had it.

Q:
Regarding the exterior electrical inlet and cover: I broke the ground off mine. ( Don’t even ask how!) Does this unit come with the wires, etc, that I need to replace the unit?
Asked by:
Margie
- 11/21/2021
A:
No additional wiring is required. You attach the wiring from your van to this receptacle.

Q:
will Part Number: 087661-01-000 fit a 1993 Eurovan Westphalia?
Asked by:
Scott Smith
- 11/11/2022
A:
Really don't know. Westfalia campers were not sold in the US.
This fits on a standard 2 gang electrical box. If that's what your camper has, then it may work.

Q:
I have a 1992 Euro Van Camper. The electrical cover (which I am missing) enclosed a extendable electrical cord with male plug that extends to plug into a normal 110V female receptacle. Could the wires from that extendable cord be wired into this product, in such a way that a portable electrical cord with both ends male work. Meaning the product excepts a male input?
Asked by:
Orlin Lavallie
- 2/7/2024
A:
This product is just the cover and electrical inlet. It mounts to the electrical box. You should consult with an electrician or RV specialist to determine if this item will work for your 1992 model.

Q:
I have a 2000 Eurovan camper. How does this cover attach to the van? Do you have to get access to the inside of the van to loosen or fasten the cover? If so how much work is involved getting to the inside mount points? Thanks for any insights.
Asked by:
Alfred
- 2/6/2025
A:
To replace the shoreline receptacle, remove the 2 cover plate screws and carefully pull the assembly away from the van to access the wiring. Loosen the screws that retain the wiring and disconnect the wires. Remove the receptacle and seal.
Position the new receptacle to the side of the van. Reattach the wiring: Black wire to Gold connector, White wire to Silver connector, Green wire to Green connector. Reattach the receptacle with screws.
