The Clesana X1 Floor Mounting Kit secures your Clesana X1 X1 ProCharge quick-release system . A front lip and two rear latches hold the toilet firmly in position, with locking clips that prevent the latches from disengaging during sudden stops or acceleration — and the whole toilet releases and removes without tools when you need it out.
What’s in the Kit
1 Front Lip
Screws to the floor at the front. The toilet tilts in and slots under the lip, centering and securing the front edge.
2 Rear Latches
Screw to the floor at the rear corners. The back of the toilet snaps into the latches to lock the rear in place.
2 Locks
Clip onto the latches after the toilet is seated. Prevent the latches from disengaging during sudden acceleration or hard braking — essential for moving vehicles.
1 Drilling Aid
A positioning template that slides under the toilet’s rear recesses to mark exact drill hole locations for the latches. Takes the guesswork out of placement.
All hardware included: 8× 4×35 mm wood screws for the latches, 2× 4×20 mm wood screws for the lip. No hardware store run needed.

Installation Overview
Installation requires a 2.5 mm drill bit and a screwdriver. The minimum floor area needed is 344 mm wide × 420 mm long (about 13.5” × 16.5”). The included drilling aid makes it easy to mark the correct latch positions — no measuring required.
Install the front lip first (pre-drill 10 mm deep, fasten with the 4×20 mm screws). Push the toilet against the lip, use the drilling aid to mark the rear latch holes, remove the toilet, and fasten the latches with the 4×35 mm screws. Clip the locks onto the latches. To seat the toilet, open the locks, tilt the toilet forward, insert the front bottom into the lip, lower the rear onto the floor, and snap it into the latches — then engage the locks.
To remove: open the locks, push the toilet rearward to disengage the latches, lift the front, and pull forward.
Designed for wooden subfloors. The included wood screws are sized for the plywood and timber subfloors common in van conversions, RV bathroom platforms, and cabin builds. If your floor surface is metal, fiberglass, or tile, install a wooden mounting plate first and attach the kit to that. Also ensure screw length does not penetrate all the way through your floor panel.

What tools do I need to install the kit?
A 2.5 mm drill bit and a screwdriver are all you need. Pilot holes are required for both the lip and the latches — drill to 10 mm depth. The included drilling aid handles placement for the latches so you don’t need to measure. Neither the drill nor the screwdriver are included.
Can I still remove the toilet after it’s mounted?
Yes — no tools needed for removal. Open the locks on the rear latches, push the toilet rearward to disengage the latches, lift the front of the toilet, then pull it forward to free it from the lip. The whole process takes a few seconds. Practical for deep cleaning or reconfiguring your layout.
Does this kit work on metal van floors or fiberglass?
The included wood screws are designed for wooden subfloors. For metal, fiberglass, or tile surfaces, we recommend installing a wooden mounting plate first and attaching the kit to that. The kit itself will work fine — it’s the fasteners that require a wood substrate.
Is this kit compatible with the Clesana X1 ProCharge?
Yes. The floor mounting kit is compatible with both the Clesana X1 and the Clesana X1 ProCharge .
